What Can I Do With A Women's and Gender Studies Minor?

Gender issues affect the professional world and businesses are looking to hire culturally-aware employees who can help identify roadblocks that cause gender disparities. For example, law, health care, social work, teaching, counseling, and government services are all professions seeking expertise on gender issues.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, those with a background in gender studies are also better prepared for work in areas such as business, finance, social work, and administrative support.
